1. What should I do to wash the products Suspiro d’Algodão?
You should follow the washing instructions present in the products. Some of them you cannot wash because they contain organic biological products, such as natural wheat seeds and lavender.

1. Como devo proceder para lavar os produtos Suspiro d’Algodão?
Deve seguir as instruções de lavagem que acompanham os produtos. Alguns dos produtos não se podem lavar pois contêm produtos biológicos orgânicos, como as sementes de trigo ou a alfazema natural.

2. I bought a white kitchen towel and because of the colourful embroidery I washed it by hand with detergent and just a bit of water. I left it for some time soaked in the washing water and I have found that the cloth was dyed red around the embroidery. Why that happened?
The used threads in the embroidery are of the best quality and they should not dye the fabrics if the products are washed following the washing instructions. However, in the first washes some colour pigments can still be released and permeate the fabrics if they were not washed with abundant water. To avoid the dye, for example in red, of the fabric you should wash the cloth following the washing instructions, that is, by machine at 30 or 40 °C.
2. Comprei um pano de cozinha branco e por causa do bordado colorido lavei-o à mão com pouca água e detergente. Deixei algum tempo ensopado na água de lavagem e verifiquei que o pano ficou tingido de vermelho à volta do bordado. Porque me aconteceu isso?
As linhas usadas no bordado são da melhor qualidade e não devem tingir os tecidos se os produtos forem lavados seguindo as instruções de lavagem. No entanto, nas primeiras lavagens pode ocorrer ainda libertação de alguns pigmentos que se podem impregnar nos tecidos caso não sejam lavados com água abundante. Para evitar o tingimento, por exemplo de vermelho, do tecido deve lavar o pano seguindo as instruções de lavagem, ou seja, à máquina a 30 ou 40 ºC.
